The launching of the PharmcyTok will be on the 3rd of July 2014 at National Department
of Health Conference Room.
The Pharmacy Tok is the official newsletter
for the pharmacy community in PNG
and intends to publish quarterly issues.
This makes a regular communication
medium by which advice and guidance
on medicines updated information and
relevant advice on pharmacists’ roles
are shared. Pharmacists and interested
members are welcomed to participate
in this publication thru letters to editor
and in columns as well. Issues of interest
such as drug availability and medicines
reviews can be discussed by professionals.
More attention will be on pharmacy
professional development issues and
how best professionals at all levels can
play a role in ensuring good work ethics
and improving the quality of service.
The focus of the newly launched
National Medicines Policy will also attract
much attention in terms of advocating
adaptation of its strategies into corporate
plans and ensuring implementation at
different levels of Health Service delivery.
